PawSox Fan Fest Fun!

This afternoon Dave, Avery my father and I headed to Pawtucket RI’s  McCoy Stadium to see the Pawtucket Red Sox play ball!  The Paw Sox are the minor league affiliate of the Boston Red Sox and we are pretty big fans. We hadn’t been able to make it to a game this season because of prior commitments and baby stuff, but we were offered FREE tickets from McDonalds Eastern NE and we couldn’t say “no”  I was thrilled that my dad didn’t have to work, and could be there with us for Avery’s first baseball game, since he used to take me to Paw Sox games when I was a kid. (We’d go to games when we were in MA visiting my Grandma)

Ready to go!

Before the game we stopped by my Grandma’s house to pick up my dad and see my fabulous cousin who was in town for a few days (and who we have not seen in a couple years) We had a nice, albeit short, visit, then headed out the the game.

With “Grandpa” at McCoy–He thought we were going to a Bruins game apparently lol

Very interested in the game

Not so interested in the game

We had our picture taken with Sox! She’s so cute!

And a photo opp at Fan Fest with the adorable Raccoon mascot from Seekonk Speedway! (He was all alone and we felt bad!)

Avery got to Run the bases! She was super fast! I hope the scouts were watching.

Awwww! Family photo on the field!

We had a GREAT time, and want to thank McDonald’s of Eastern New England for giving us the tickets!!  Follow them on Twitter:  https://twitter.com/McDEasternNE

And thank you to the Paw Sox! The game was great (they won) and the Fan Fest was a lot of fun!
