New Spring Wardrobe from Cookie’s Kids

There’s the saying here in New England “If you don’t like the weather, wait ten minutes” and it sure is true!  However, the last few days have been sunny and a bit warmer (45* is warm when you’re coming out of temps in the teens!)

Because of this “warm up” I have had Spring wardrobe shopping on my mind! Of course, as a mom, most of the shopping I do is for my daughter. Since I buy so many outfits for Avery, I’m always looking for a great deal.  We check out local consignment shops, but sometimes you just want NEW!

Since I love shopping online, I hopped over to Cookie’s Kids online store.  I had never shopped their site before but was so impressed with the prices! I spent some time looking around at the Girls Dresses because Easter is right around the corner and I still don’t have a dress for Avery to wear!

Huge selection of girls dresses

I saw so many cute dresses but decided on a less “fancy” dress that she could wear more often.  (I also checked out the adorable Boys Suits available. Seriously, they are just so cute!) I continued to shop and saw that they have a large selection of  School Uniforms!  Not something we need at this time, but I know many parents do!  The prices were fantastic!

While shopping I came across the little “Alva Kids” icon next to the size options on the item pages.  I clicked on it to learn about it.  I was thrilled to discover that Alva Kids is a free “app”  that takes your child’s size information (age, height and weight) and calculates it to show you the proper size for the particular item you’re looking at! Since Avery is an “odd” size (a 3m waist with 6-9m legs) I often have difficulty purchasing clothes for her online.  Alva Kids took the worry out of that. (You can see more images of the Alva Kids process as well as my total shopping experience in my Google+ album HERE)

I also discovered that Cookie’s Kids isn’t just clothing.  They have EVERYTHING from toys and games, to backpacks and bibs, strollers, pack-n-plays, EVERYTHING you need for your kids!

After shopping for at least an hour, I finally made my choices and placed my order.  With shipping the total came in under $35!!

Less than a week later, our order arrived!

All this for under $30!

I was thrilled!  The outfits were just as shown on the website.  The colors were accurate, and the quality was great (I knew the Carters would be, but there were other brands I wasn’t as familiar with)

Avery put on a fashion show for her daddy.  First up was this adorable “Tarocco” outfit made by Carter’s!

Carter’s “Tarocco” 2-piece outfit

Cookie’s Kids has a pretty large selection of Carter’s clothes.  I was thrilled to see this since Carter’s is one of our favorite brands, and we love that we could get this it a discount! She was so excited to get new clothes!

I love this outfit!

Next up was this cute casual dress

Bon Bebe “Cottontail Cutie” 2-piece dress

I want YOU to shop at

Finally, Avery tried on her new onesies and socks!

Snuggly Baby “Pattern Plus” 3 pack bodysuits and Rugged Bead “Butterflies and More” 6 pair socks

I was really impressed with Cookies Kids.  The prices were fantastic, the brands and quality were great and the service was wonderful. Alva Kids ensured that everything I ordered was the proper size! I will definitely be ordering from them again!
