If you thought Edaville was fun during the day, you should visit during one of their evening events! This weekend we visited the park for their Movie Night. We arrived around 5, and rode our favorite rides. Avery immediately requested the “spinny ride” aka Tilt-a-whirl, because she is my little thrill seeker! We Walked through Dinoland, and then grabbed some dinner. We decided to eat dinner picnic style, and found a spot on the field where the movie would be shown. It was a beautiful night, and we enjoyed our hot dogs and cheeseburgers.
Not long after we finished eating the movie started. It was Willy Wonka & The Chocolate Factory. One of my favorites.
Avery lasted about 40 minutes into the movie before announcing that she wanted to go ride the train.
We still had some time before the next train ride, so off to Dinoland we went. In. The. Dark.
The trail is lit, but I still had a fear in the back of my mind that these dinos would come to life and chase us through the woods (I may have seen Jurassic Park a few too many times!)
Dinoland was pretty amazing at night. The dinosaurs are incredibly realistic during the day, but at night? WOW!
Then it was time to ride the train! Avery took some time to practices her ballet moves while we waited for the other passengers to board.
And then we were off! Again, the train is fun in daylight, but we really enjoyed the new experience of riding at night!
We cannot wait to go back later this month for Pumpkins Aglow, October 3rd through the 26th on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays!
