*I was given coupons to try out Veggie Fries. All opinions are my own*
So, Avery is a toddler, and part of the Toddler Code states that “Toddlers Shall refuse foods, even if said food was one they enjoyed the day before.” She lives by this code, and it makes meals very difficult for me.
“Apple, Mommy!!! PEASE!!! PEASE!!! APPLES!!!! MORE APPLES!!!”
I serve her apples, peeled and sliced, on her Mickey Mouse plate…
I turn around…
and I hear the plate hit the floor…
“NO APPLES!!!! I DON’T YIKE IT!!!”
It’s a daily battle.
Here is a list of food that Avery will never eat. Ever.
- Red meat
Here is a list of food she will eat about 25% of the time (she LOVES them one day and throws them across the room the next)
- Bananas
- “berries” (grapes)
- “booberries” (blueberries)
- Bread
- chicken in nugget form
- broccoli
- corn
- peas
- apples
- “onenges” (clementines)
Here is a list of food that Avery will eat about 80% of the time:
- “Yo Hos” (Pirates Booty)
- “Cookie crackers” (graham crackers)
- Hot dogs
And finally here is the list of foods that Avery will eat 100% of the time
- Cake pops
- Fries
So, as you can see, we have a bit of trouble getting those key servings of veggies in to her growing body.
Thank goodness that Boston based mom and dad created Veggie Fries!
Veggie Fries are awesome! They are made from all natural USA grown potatoes, but not JUST potatoes! Each variety contains at least 25% of non-potato vegetables!
Veggie Fries are a product that you can feel good about serving your family! They are all natural, non-GMO and wheat & gluten free! Each 3 ounce serving of Veggie Fries contains 2 full vegetable servings!
We tried the Carrot and Potato variety as well as the Broccoli and Potato and both were delicious! So crispy on the outside (we baked them) and fluffy and full of flavor on the inside! EXACTLY the way I like my fries to be!
I’m thrilled to have found a product that our whole family loves, especially a healthy one!
Now, if only they’d create a veggie-filled cake pop…

So, which variety do you want to try first?

Oooh, I am all over the chickpea fries!!! Totally up my alley. Sounds delicious

I have the same problem with my son! The apple is the worst, I peel it, core it, slice it, he takes one bite and doesn’t want it. I saw these in the store the other day and was curious. I’m going to have to try them now.I think chickpea and red pepper sounds amazing.

Delano loves broccoli (along with loving fries) so I’m excited to try the broccoli and potato fries!
Also, what are the stars on Avery’s plate!?
They’re so good! The stars are swiss cheese that I cut with a tiny cookie cutter lolEat Your Veggie Fries
