Pepperoni Stuffed Mushrooms - #PepItUp with Hormel - Recipe

These hot appetizers are perfect for holiday parties or game day! Everyone will love them!
  • 30 Large stuffing mushrooms
  • ⅓ cup Hormel Pepperoni-chopped
  • ½ cup Italian bread crumbs
  • ½ cup grated Pecorino Romano
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • Shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ¼ cup Olive oil
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
  2. Remove stems from mushrooms, hold 4-6 stems aside, and chop those into small pieces (approximately ⅓ cup)
  3. Mince garlic, chop pepperoni into small pieces)
  4. In a large bowl, combine bread crumbs, Hormel Pepperoni, Pecorino Romano, chopped mushrooms stems, garlic, salt and pepper, and 2 tablespoons olive oil.
  5. Coat a baking dish with olive oil, and arrange mushrooms caps in the dish.
  6. Scoop the filling into the mushrooms.
  7. Stop with shredded mozzarella.
  8. Drizzle olive oil over the mushrooms.
  9. Bake until the mushrooms are tender and the filling is a light golden brown.
  10. Serve.
