I am a Turkey Hill Fan-bassador. I was not asked to write this, and all opinions of this delicious, delicious ice cream are my own!
The weather is getting warmer (or it’s supposed to be…It’s still a bit cool here in New England!) And we’ll be spending more time outside. I love hanging out in the warm spring and early summer air, playing in the yard.
One of my favorite childhood memories is of summer days spent at my neighbor’s house (She was also my babysitter) She always had yummy freeze pops or popsicles on hand to give us when the weather got warm.
I absolutely love popsicles. I think I could live on them (with a side of fresh bread and butter…and maybe a cupcake here and there…and cheese…)
I wanted to make some of my own!
I’ve always made pops with juice and fruit, but I’d never made ice cream pops before. I thought that my Turkey Hill All Natural Vanilla would be the perfect base for some Berries and Cream pops!
They are really easy to make! In fact, I really didn’t measure anything, I just threw the berries in the blender with a few scoops of ice cream! Once they were sufficiently blended (ie; smooth, creamy, and a gorgeous shade of pink or purple) I poured it into my popsicle molds to freeze (about 4 hours)
I made a few Raspberries & Cream, a few Blackberries & Cream, and a few Mixed Berries & Cream pops and they were a hit!
Avery LOVED the Blackberry pop!
It’s a treat that I can feel good about giving her. Of course there is sugar, and we try to keep that to a minimum, but with Turkey Hill All Natural Ice Cream I know that she’s getting only the best ingredients. In fact, the Vanilla Bean only have 5 ingredients! Cream, nonfat milk, sugar, vanilla and vanilla bean! And, when I add in the berries, I know she’s getting some of her daily fruits!
Next time I think we’ll try Apple Pie pops or Peaches & Cream or Orange Cream, or even Banana Split! Mmmm!!
What fruit would you add?

These look and sound like a perfect treat. I’m going to go get me some Turkey Hill today and will dig out my blender! Great idea !
