Kids for Kids: Drawing A Brighter Future (Review)

When it comes to helping kids in need I’ll do whatever I can (Who wouldn’t?) And that is why I wanted to take a moment to tell you about Kids For Kids

Kids For Kids is a clothing  company, founded by Iris Shiloh.  Irish visited India in 2010 and was inspired by the children she met at Tibetan Children’s Village, and orphanage.  She was so touched by these children that she wanted to do something to benefit them, and in 2012 Kids For Kids was founded.

The apparel features artwork by children from different organizations that support orphaned and underprivileged children across the globe. 10% of each sale is donated to these organizations, and those donations are used to help with the education and health of the children.

Avery was sent an adorable onsie featuring the Mama Africa print, designed by Nondudzo Ndlanlada, a 15 year old girl from Gone Rural boMake, a non-profit organization in Swaziland, Africa.

I love that they put the name of the child artist on each piece! What a huge self esteem boost to these kids, to see their art on a shirt being worn by so many other little kids!

There are currently 4 designs available in the onesies and 3 designs available in children’s t-shirts. Adult apparel will be coming soon! All apparel is 100% cotton, and oh so soft!

Avery LOVES her onsie, as you can see!
