Oh, friends, date night is going to be AMAZING this week!!  Dave and I will be heading to Foxwoods Resort Casino for dinner and to see Cirque Éloize iD at the Fox Theater!!  We’ve seen other nouveau cirque (contemporary circus) shows and have always left in awe. I know this will be no different!

From the Foxwoods site:

For 20 years now, Cirque Éloize has been taking the public and critics by storm in more than 440 cities around the world. This August, Cirque Éloize’s dazzling and energetic iD comes to Foxwoods for the very first time. This astonishing modern circus transports audiences to a vibrant urban streetscape. The stage comes alive with the boundless energy of acrobats, break dancers, and contortionists, who perform against a kaleidoscope of eye-popping video projections, building to a stunning finale on a one-of-a-kind video trampowall. Everyone will love this mind-blowing fusion of new theatrical circus and urban dance!

My seven year old daughter would be my guest, she is so excited by this! If she is otherwise busy, my husband and I would really appreciate this and it is close to home!

I’d bring my husband – it’d be the perfect way to celebrate being together 9 years this month! And with date nights being few and far between with two little ones, this would be such a treat.

I’d bring my husband. We very rarely have date nights since he works long hours, and I run my own business. By the time we do find time to get out, we are both tired and ready for bed. Haha. This would be the perfect excuse to find a sitter and get out for a few hours.

I’d bring my husband! He’s never seen a show like this and I bet he’d be blown away!! It sounds like such a fun date night!!

I would bring my best friend of many years, she just had a baby and we both could use a girls night…. today is the anniversary of her husbands death…..
It would be nice to have a fun night out!
    Thank you

I would love to see this show with my husband! He is so supportive of the things that bring joy to my life. I just really like him.

If I ever won I would take my mom. The two of us have had some hard times and being a single mom of three I haven’t been out in years. She and I never do anything for ourselves. It would force me to go relax and have a nice bday for the first time in a very long time. :) good luck to whomever wins.
