We’re heading into August, which (sadly) means we’re more than halfway through regular season . BUT don’t worry, there is still time to catch a game at Fenway! The Red Sox have a whole bunch of great events in store this month… Check ’em out!

Thursday, August 9  – Jimmy Buffet 

Live Nation and the Boston Red Sox are excited to announce that the wait is over! Friday, August 10  – Billy Joel  

Live Nation and the Boston Red Sox are excited to announce the return of legendary musician Billy Joel, who will take the Fenway Park stage on Friday, August 10, 2018 for an unprecedented 5th consecutive year. TICKETS

Saturday, August 11  – Journey & Def Leppard

The Boston Red Sox and Live Nation are excited to announce that two of the world’s greatest rock bands – Journey and Def Leppard – will take the Fenway Park stage on Saturday, August 11 when they team up for a massive co-headlining North American tour. TICKETS

The Red Sox Showcase, powered by T-Mobile will bring Red Sox baseball and Fenway Park to towns across New England all summer long. The truck will carry a batting cage, pitching stations, a steal 2nd challenge, giant jenga, and a virtual reality experience.

“Out of the Park” is a free event featuring a live viewing of the 1:05 p.m. August 12 Red Sox – Orioles in Boston Common with the Sox Showcase, caricaturists, balloon artists, face painters Red Sox Mascot Wally the Green Monster, his sister Tessie, and a live DJ throughout the day.

“Out of the Park” is free and open to the public.

cutMovie Night | Tuesday, August 15  | Jurassic Park

The Red Sox will celebrate the 25th anniversary of Jurassic Park by screening the blockbuster on the video board at Fenway Park. Fans are invited to walk the warning track from 6:45 – 7:45 p.m. ahead of the movie beginning at 8 p.m. Concessions will be available. Tickets are $10; $5 for under 12. redsox.com/movienight

Calling all kids! It’s time to sign up for your 2018 Red Sox Kid Nation membership! Check out the exciting changed to the program for the 2018 season!

With training camp in full swing (ha ha see what I did there? *swing* I am so funny!) our family is in full baseball mode! We’re counting down the days til Opening Day (Red Sox home opener is April 5th vs. Tampa Bay!)  And Avery is excited to renew her membership in Red Sox Kid Nation!

The Red Sox have made some really great changes to the program for the 2018 season, and I think you’ll be just as excited as we are! The changes will allow members of Kid Nation to be even more involved, and interact with the team in a whole new way.

Here are just a few perks of the 2018 Red Sox Kid Nation Program:

  • Membership points will be earned both at the ballpark, as well as when the team is on the road, in a variety of ways. Fans can earn points by:
    • Checking in at Kid Nation kiosks throughout Fenway Park.
    • Attending seasonal events held by partners and affiliates
    • Participating in online games and activities
    • And by watching and listening for the Kid Nation “code word” during NESN broadcasts.
  • All-Star Kid Nation members will be granted early access to watch batting practice from atop the Green Monster.
  • And, just like in previous years,  25,000 Kid Nation members (Both Rookie and All-Star memberships) will receive a free Red Sox ticket!

Peanuts Night at Fenway

Peanuts Night Fenway Park Boston Red SoxA couple weeks ago I told you all about the Peanut Free nights at Fenway.  Well today I’m sharing an event that is all about Peanuts…the adorable comic characters, that is!

Head to Fenway Park on Thursday, June 29, to celebrate one of the most popular comic strips of all-time, “Peanuts”.  2017 serves as the 50th Anniversary of “You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown” which debuted in 1967! Ticket packages purchased through this special offer include a ticket to the game against the Twins, as well as a limited edition bobblehead of Charlie Brown in a Red Sox uniform!
