Since some of my DIY wedding details were so popular that they were stolen, I thought I’d write a quick post showcasing some of our other wedding details, in case any brides are looking for ideas.
I never blogged about our wedding (since it took place before I had a “real” blog) and maybe someday I will write about it in more detail, but for now, here is some eye candy!
Photographer: Heather Chick Photography (The greatest photographer ever, HIGHLY recommended!)
Venue: Lake Pearl Lucianos, Wrentham, MA
Cake: konditor Meister
Flowers: A dear friend
My Dress: David’s Bridal
Bridesmaid’s Dresses: J. Crew
Grooms attire: American Eagle, Gap, Express
Our Candy Buffet, featuring old fashioned candy and of course, Big League Chew (you can’t have a Baseball themed wedding without it!)

Pennant Centerpieces

Baseballs for guests to sign. And grass!
Flowers in vintage soda bottles (found on ebay)

Old Cracker Jack tins (found on ebay)

Our cake! We didn’t want anything too fancy and we absolutely HATE fondant, so we went with butter cream frosting and simple rock candy as decoration.

Of course we needed a Disney Element! Our Card Box was made to look like the mailbox from the movie “Up!”

Escort cards. Some people got a box of Cracker Jacks, others got a vintage style Coke glass filled with root beer barrels

We didn’t want a regular guest book that just gets put on a shelf and never looked at again. So we went with a Red Sox jersey with our name and wedding year!

Our color scheme was set by the flowers. I knew I wanted lambs ear (my favorite plant) and yellow roses (to represent my Nana) I didn’t want a “standard” bouquet, I wanted something a bit whimsical.

We wanted wedding bands that really represented us in a unique way. We found some amazing wood grain bands that were perfect since Dave is an interior woodworker!
I made pinwheels to decorate the ceremony space

Our Bridal Party wore Converse Chuck Taylors (since those are my shoe of choice!)

All in all our wedding was completely US! Laid back, unique and fun!
